Private tutors & instructors
Every instructor here applied, was reviewed by Schola, and chose to publish their profile. Book a free intro class straight from their own calendar.
Our first instructors are in review
We only list people who applied, passed our review, and agreed to publish their profile, so this page starts empty instead of filled with stand-ins. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll introduce you as soon as there's a good match.
How it works
- Pick an instructor. Each profile shows what they teach, who they teach, where, and their rate.
- Book a free intro class. The button opens the instructor's own scheduling page with their live availability, so you choose a time that's actually open.
- Carry on directly. If it's a good fit, you agree on lessons and rates with the instructor. Schola doesn't take a commission.
Safety
We review every application before a profile goes live. Instructors who teach children in person need a background check first. For young learners, we recommend a parent stays present or nearby, especially for the first lessons. Concerns about an instructor? Email hello@schola.org.
Teach a subject families are looking for? Apply to teach on Schola. It's free during our launch.
